Expo West: Best Brands on Social Media
After 10 years in business you would think we would have attended Expo West before - but this was our first year there and WOW.
If you have never been, it’s a few days of non-stop chaos (in a good way) - I spent most of my time on the floors exploring (almost) every single brand there (3,000 brands). With my experience in CPG marketing (and just having launched my own brand: Littlefoot Matcha) and a self-proclaimed foodie THIS was my SuperBowl.
After seeing some amazing booths, beautiful packaging, trying TONS of new food, and scoping everyone out on social media, here are the brands we will be watching and learning from this year:
NOON
Their booth was simple yet STUNNING. I actually enjoyed the product (and will be ordering) - but when I saw their Instagram I gasped. BEAUTIFUL. Every image feels like it’s adding to their story and ethos as a brand.
Their produce market booth really caught my attention. I love how much they focus on fresh ingredients in their content on Instagram. The colors really pop. It’s hard to find brands that actually do food/recipe content right. This feels really organic.
Was so excited to see this brand after trying their milk recently. The brand colors are on point. They do a great job at balancing product content vs vibe content.
To be honest, I will be ordering this brand in CASES. It was so good, their cans stole the show. The branding (they just launched their new branding in the last week) and it looks beautiful - their Instagram is currently in refresh mode but even the simple content they have up looks amazing.
They may have had the most EXTRAVAGENT booth - I probably spent 20 mins there chatting, trying drinks, using the photobooth, entering to win their letterman jacket…this brand goes hard. It’s not everyday you find a beverage brand that does things out of the ordinary on Instagram. Definitely worth checking out.
I first noticed this brand by the tote bags everyone had at Expo. Although their Instagram is mainly teaser content for their new product - definitely worth learning from. This announcement for Super looks great!
